JRNL-0001-002026-v1The Journal is a record of what I’m learning along the way.
Some entries document the progress of a project. Others capture observations, experiments, lessons learned, or ideas worth remembering. Not everything here becomes a finished build, but every entry represents a step in the process.
This is where curiosity is documented—one note at a time.
BN-003-003 - R. Buckminster Fuller: Pattern-thinking
Some books teach you facts. Others change how you think. Buckminster Fuller’s Pattern Thinking falls into the second category. Here’s what I took away from it. ★★★★☆
BN-003-002 - Dave Grohl - The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music
The Storyteller isn’t really about rock music - it’s about the stories behind a life spent making it. I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at Dave Grohl’s journey, even if my perspective on him has become more complicated over time.
BN-002-001 - Rick Rubin: The Creative Act: A Way of Being
Creativity isn’t something reserved for artists - it’s a way of approaching the world. In The Creative Act, Rick Rubin shows that curiosity, observation, and experimentation are skills anyone can cultivate. It was one of the most inspiring books I’ve read this year and changed how I think about engineering, making, and creating every day.
